The Fraunhofer ENAS supports companies in negotiating these challenges. The Research Institution cooperates with the Center for Microtechnologies ZfM of Chemnitz University to offer research and development as well as services.

The growing complexity and miniaturization of innovative products lead to the fact that systems integration will be getting more and more important fort he scientific and technical development. Thereby, not only multifunctionality but also the implementation of different devices (multi device) consisting of different materials (multi materials) play together an important role. The integration of nano materials as well as printed functionalities causes new challenges and requires new approaches in terms of reliability, testability, design and security.
